Committee/Position Senator on the Board of Governors, 1 vacancy, two-year term, full-time tenure-stream faculty or full-time tenure-stream librarians and archivists. Must be a Senator at the time of election and continuing through to 30 June 2027. Vice-Chair of Senate/Chair of Senate, 1 vacancy. 18-Month Term as Vice-Chair from 1 January 2026 to 30 June 2027; followed by 18-Month Term as Chair from 1 July 2027 to 30 December 2028. Leadership experience in University-level governance. Male preferred to sustain the gender balance between the Chair and Vice-Chair. Principles of equity, diversity and inclusivity will be brought to the identification of nominees. Academic Standards, Curriculum & Pedagogy, 1 vacancy, one-year term from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026. Contract faculty member. Academic Standards, Curriculum & Pedagogy, 1 vacancy, three-year term from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2028. Full-time faculty member. Appeals, 5 vacancies, three-year term from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2028. Full-time faculty member. Awards, 5 vacancies, three-year term from 1 July 2025to 30 June 2028. Full-time faculty member. Tenure and Promotions Committee, 4 vacancies, three-year term from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2028. Members participate as a Senate-designated member on Faculty- level committees as needed. Tenured, with 2 at rank of Full Professor, and at least 8 with rank of above Assistant Professor. Previous experience on either Senate T&P committee, unit or Faculty-level committee required. Note: simultaneous membership on T&P committees at different levels is not permitted. To meet membership rules, at least 4 of the 8 new members must be at rank above Assistant Professor. APPRC Advisory Sub-committee on Academic Resource Allocations. New for 2025-2026, terms of members to be staggered at the outset to support gradual turnover. Must be a Senator at the time of election with membership continuing for duration of the term on the subcommittee. Indicate in the box below your preferred term: 1, 2 or 3 years. Budget / finance knowledge and experience normally required.
